Curling

On February 4 our Jr Boys and Jr Doubles team participated in Pre-Districts in Ituna to represent our school in curling.

 

Jack, Conrad, Logan, and skip Blake battled hard, playing their games back to back throughout the day; winning their first game against Strasbourg 6-3.  In their second game they faced a strong Imperial team who's been playing together for a couple years, this was their toughest game of the day, but they stayed in it with a 5-2 loss.  Their final game of the day was against Strasbourg once again, with Strasboug pulling off the win.  Score being 5-4, Strasbourg pulling ahead in the final end of the game.  Excellent representation of our school boys, proud of what you've accomplished in the past month!

 

Bridget and Charlie, along with spare Presley also played very well against another doubles team from Raymore, who's also been playing for many years and partook in both Jr. and Sr. competitions this season.  Both games they came out with a loss, however the score was tight in each game and they had a great time!  Game 1 was a 4-3 loss and game 2, a 5-4 loss. 

 

Again, very proud of all of you, it's been a great month of learning!

Charlie & Presley will move onto Districts next week in Wadena on Feb. 10 & 11 to represent our doubles team once again.  Good luck to the two of you, we know you'll make Schell proud of our Pacers once again!

Our curlers are going to wrap up their season over the February break with a mini funspiel,  already looking forward to next season.
