Senior Badminton –  A great effort by our Senior Badminton players – Taylor Metz & Jacob Rennie in Mixed Doubles and Emily Otte & Rileigh Reynoldson in Girls Doubles as they came up against some tough competition at Districts on Saturday, April 30th in Foam Lake.  Taylor & Jacob did not make it to the semi-finals while Emily & Rileigh made it to the semi-finals before narrowly being defeated by Humboldt in the bronze medal match.  Great year Senior Badminton players!!!

SENIOR BADMINTON – Pre-Districts were held at Schell School on April 24th & 25th.  Congratulations to our Senior Badminton players on a great effort at pre-districts.  Anthony Rennie finished 2nd after pool play and then faced the eventual winner in the semi-final.  In the third place match he narrowly lost to the Imperial player in two sets.  A great effort Anthony!  In Mixed Doubles play the re-united team of Jacob Rennie & Taylor Metz regained their Pre-District title after a close match with Raymore.  Both Taylor & Jacob cut down on service & playing errors to play their best badminton of the year.  Emily Otte & Rileigh Reynoldson played Girls Doubles the 2nd day and had a good day of badminton as they advance to Districts as well.  Congratulations to all of our teams – The 4 of them will now travel to Foam Lake on Saturday for District play.  Good luck!.
