2025/2026 Cross Country Schedule
The cross country season will begin on Monday Sept. 8 and conclude on Thursday Oct. 2. All of our runners are in the novice or atom category this year which means the length of your race will be 2KM. Cross country is a short season so it is expected that you make most, if not all, scheduled practices. Practices will take place at noon hour for ease of transportation. If you want to practice after school talk to Mr. Strueby. If you want to practice on your own, 10 laps on the track at school is equivalent to 2KM.
The schedule is as follows:
Monday Sept. 8 – 12:05 – 12:30
Tuesday Sept. 9 – 12:05 – 12:30
Thursday Sept. 11 – 12:05 – 12:30
Monday Sept. 15 – 12:05 – 12:30
Wednesday Sept. 17 – 12:05 – 12:30
Friday Sept. 19 – 12:05 – 12:30
Monday Sept. 22 – Practice at noon OR travel to Craik for a cross country meet after school (details to follow)
Wednesday Sept. 24 – Pre district meet – Location TBD (either Humboldt or Watson)
The following are practices for those that finished in the top 10 and advance to the district meet:
Friday Sept. 26 – 12:05- 12:30
Wednesday Oct. 1 – 12:05 – 12:30
Thursday Oct. 2 – District meet in Watson (top 10 finishers at pre districts advance to this meet)
I can drive to both meets, but only have room for 5 students. We will likely need at least one driver for the pre district meet and possibly for the district meet depending on how many qualify.
